women day 15, sunday oct 5th

I will start posting my meals tomorrow as per your requests. Also, i will include my workouts. I am so glad that you were all able to make it this morning. It is important to the success of this program.

    .5 cont of brown rice .5 cont of eggwhites
    15 walnuts
    spinach salad
    .5 cont of of halibut container of sweet pototo
    protein shake 2 tbl of almond butter

    I know my day is mostly the same but it seems to work. I will add more spices to dinners in the future.

  2. Hi Jody, thanks for the info this morning. I left without getting the zinc/magnesium supplement for better sleeping. When you get the chance can you provide me with the correct amount/day?
    Today: 1 hour spin class
    Low Carb Day:

    1 cup coffee with almond milk
    1 slice ek bread with 1 TBSP almond butter w/
    baked apples, few raisins and walnuts

    2 Stuffed mushrooms - onions, mushroom, worcestershire sauce with a trace of ground turkey
    (nothing like the real things, but not bad at all)

    1 protein shake with 1 Tsp almond butter

    1 container roast beef
    1/2 container brown rice
    brussel sprouts
    cauliflower
    turnip

    1 apple, lots of red peppers
    1 scoop Harmonized Protein, 1oz almonds (14),
    .5 container chicken, .5 oats,
    .5 container rice pasta w/a tiny bit of org. sauce. 1 container chicken sausage no casing (Fats w/out casing unknown??)
    2 scoops Harm protein and 2 tbsp alm butter (16)
    Please share info on your sleep supplements ..Thanks

  4. Bethe, I am an extremely boring eater. I rarely change things up. That's the main reason i don't blog. I will start tomorrow, however. Your foods are great.

    You did great in the class today. Pretty tough. Add weight as you feel comfortable.

  5. Wendy, Get magnesium aspartate and take as directed on the bottle.

    Excellent low carb day. Mushrooms actually sound great. I would say that i will try it but as i said above. I am a boring eater. Eat the same every day. Not a Martha Stewart like the rest of you!

  6. Everyone, Pick up magnesium apartate. Take as prescribed on the bottle. Only if you are having trouble with digestion and or sleep.

  7. Also, If you are having digestion problems take papaya enzyme and some pineapple in the morning. You will be pooping like a champ.

    Great info this morning.

    I missed a fruit today, running to get Emily to a Bar Mitzvah bus!

    1 slice Ezekiel bread 1 tbs almond butter, banana

    1/2 C hummas (carbs and fat)
    1 C tuna (protein)
    veggies

    11 almonds

    1 C low fat ground turkey
    1 C carbs with kidney beans, black beans and brown rice
    1/2 avacado
    mixed all together with a dash of taco season and some red onions, very filling

    I think I may be done with fats becasue of the hummas so I will call it quits for the night

    Please read the email I sent you. Took your advice and decided to do a real cheat meal. Feeling pretty guilty!!!!

    Day 1 of Phase II

    High Carb Day
    -apple
    -1tbs almond butter
    -kettlebell class (wow)

    -3 egg whites
    -1 yolk
    -1tsp saff lite
    -lettuce leaves

    -1 cont kosher rotesserie chicken (1/4 dark meat, 3/4 breast, no skin)
    -spinach salad- cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, red peppers, balsamic vinegar, 1tsp grapeseed oil

    -10 sugar snap peas

    Cheat Meal: Tavolo
    -1/2 roll
    -3/4 portion braised lentils
    -brocalli rap with grilled shrimps
    -dessert

    It kind of started out to be a low carb day for me, since my schedule today was messed up . went to see "Rock of Ages". Loved it.
    Today menu;
    buckweat pancakes(alm milk, 1/4 canola oil(2), no honey or sugar, 1/2 eggwhite)1 cont , 2 slices
    coffee with alm milk
    1 tbsp alm butter(8)
    banana
    11 almonds(7)
    1/2 cont bison with veggies
    1/2 cont chickenbreast
    salad
    1 eggwhite
    2 tbs alm butter(8)
    11 almonds(7)
    fresh vegetables, beets, some baked couliflowers and br sprouts
    110 oz water
    tea
    I probably did not have enough proteins today

  18. forgot to ask; should i miss 1 cont of carb on the high carb day for cheat day? i messed up on my fats in my menu description : it shoud be 8 more grams, and totaling 47
