Women, May10th, day7
Happy Mother's Day to all of you that are mothers. I have been getting the weigh in results and I am stoked!!!!! You guys did amazing! Keep up the good work. Enjoy your cheat meal but please, don't go too crazy. I don't think after all your hard work that you would anyway. Great week one!!!!!

Have also bought frozen w.c. tuna steaks, pepper, swt potato, apple, & pepper for Monday's meal when I return.
Jody is the raisin ez. bread OK? I noticed it has 5 gr sugar, where the sesame has 0 gr? I e-mailed you my #s :) Donna

but eventually no milk did ok w/out sugar. 9am protein shake w/water.

2pm grilled chicken w/black beans
munched on carrots n celery n water
4pm tea
630pm 6oz whole wheat pasta/steak/salad/beets
and 4oz wine.
Day 2
8am espresso w/milk little bit
9am grapefruit 10am 6oz steel oats
1230 radishes 1/2 cont sweet pot/string beans/2 spoonful of organic p/b
2pm green tea/celery/carrots/water all day
4pm tea
6pm 6oz turkey w/tomatoes/lettuce n brown rice
Day 3
8am espresso w/milk 9am grapefruit.
930am steel cut oats. 10am protein shake
1230 1/2 cont. brown rice w/black beans
1pm tea 3pm rest of brown rice/black beans.
6pm salad/6oz cont. whole wheat pasta 1 turkey meatball.
Day 4.
8am espresso w/milk /eggs
10am grapefruit celery n carrots
1230 sweet pot/cauliflower/spinach n eggs
2pm cucumbers/lettuce raw 4pm green tea
6pm saute veggies/salad o/v..little bit of sea salt/grilled fish marinated in balsamic vin

Day 5 yeah my cheat meal..

chicken francese small pc.dec coffee/2 spoonful of choc ice cream/2 red wines...i hope this wasnt too much.but this is great for me cuz before i would eat all nite long/so im proud of myself

I need to cook w/gluten free spices because of the twins diet/they r gluten n milk free/but this might be high in sodium for ant n i.?what can i use then i miss my soups and can i eat plain air popped pop corn?as a snack no butter nor salt bye

Here is my intake for the day;
7:00 assorted fruit berries/bananas cut up about 1 cup
8:45 scrambled egg whites , coffee
12:15 shake 1 greens/1 tbsp almond butter/1 protein/water
4:00 Dinner with whole family (cheat meal)
Lots of Salad with red vinegar
1 glass of merlot
2 clams oreganata
2 pieces of fried calamari
sauteed spinach with garlic (oil was in it too)
assorted seafood (shrimp,clams,mussels,calamari) in a marinara sauce.
It was probably about a cup and a half, not too sure.
coffee after dinner
1 after dinner drink about 2 oz of 43 (yummy)
and water throughout the day
Hope this cheat wasn't too bad, but I still feel pretty good despite the wine, and after dinner drink. It was hard to measure the portion in the xtra large plate, but I filled up on sensible things veggies salad etc.

It was one crazy day, but I think I pulled it off. Here is my intake for the day:
6:50 to 7:30 - walk
8:20 - 1 tbsp almond butter (8g); 1 slice of ezekiel
coffee black
9:30 - 1 container of rolled oats with 1 container of mixed fruit (berries)
12:00 - 1 container of sweet potato and 1 container of sauteed chicken breast (onions, paprika, rosmary) in 1 tbsp macadamia nut oil (10g)
3:00 - 1 container of egg omlette (7 whites, 1 yolk(5g)) with sauteed spinach in 1 tbsp macadamia nut oil (10g)
5:00 - 1 container or califlower
7:30 - for my cheat meal I had Korean mostly sashimi (no rice), about 5 pieces, over greens with a little of korean spicy sauce; 1/2 samll mashroom stuffed with baked salmon shashimi; 1 piece of grilled salmon shashimi stuffed with asparigus; 2 sashimi rolls with no rice and 2 glasses of white wine.
I had water thoughout the day.

Shemey, Hooray you're on! i am so sorry i didn't get to see your blogs all week. I am seeing a couple of things that we have to work on. First of all, I would like you to start to use the containers and use the terms full or half of a container. You will need to eat 3 full containers of protein and 2 full containers of carbs. You can eat all the veggies you want. Tomatoes are a fruit. Your fats need to be approx. 55g. Fats you have to count yourself. As far as going gluten free like the twins, feel free. There are plenty of alternatives to chose from. bouillon cubes are fine. As long as you're drinking lots of water salt is not bad for you. Don't do the popcorn. Noone can control themselves with that stuff. High in carbs.

Dawn, Fats and veggies? You probably ate the equivalent of only two containers of protein. Sunflower seeds and a protein shake before bed if you get this message. Please, try to eat real food when ever possible. Take advantage of the weekends to eat real food since you don't have to go to Delaware.

ReplyDeleteSadly I did not enjoy the cheesecake like I would of liked to. Nothing tastes good to me at all. Between this severe head cold and legs still hurting from workout on Thursday, I am a bit frustrated. Tomorrow is my kickboxing class so I am hoping to get through that class.
I submitted my weight in on the weight in thread. Only 1/2 lb :(
I have the same thing. Coughing, congestion and sore throat. It sucks! I took musinex today and it really helped. Taking nightime Robitussin cough, cold and flu before bed.
ReplyDeleteI think the fact that you are sick may be playing a big part in the weight loss. Also, you had a really hard workout your muscles are sore so you will retain water as well.Weigh yourself again on wednesday and report back to me.
Cheat Day... I mean meal!

8:30am: protein shake with 1/2 banana
12:00pm: may as well have been dessert.. I did french toast and sausage.
3:00pm: green tea
7:30pm: tuna sashimi (abt a container), seaweed salad (sesame oil - about 1 tbsp) and another salad with ginger dressing.
Walked NYC with kids from 11:30 - 5:30>>> must count for something.
Not sure if you got my weigh in..sent it to Tom but looks like it got kicked back. 5 lb. exactly.

Jan, first of all you didn't eat 2 containers of carbs could be why you're shakey and craving. I mean good complex carbs not the sugar in your shake. Please try dream protein and get 2 containers of carbs in.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why you would be shakey after having your brown rice and chicken. That is odd. Maybe you should have your blood sugar tested. Can your father do that for you. I am concerned because noone else seems to be going through what you are going through.

ReplyDeletei have something called hashimotos thyroiditis - not sure if that has anything to do with anything though - Hashimoto's Thyroiditis is a type of autoimmune thyroid disease in which the immune system attacks and destroys the thyroid gland. The thyroid helps set the rate of metabolism as u know, which is the rate at which the body uses energy. Hashimoto’s stops the gland from making enough thyroid hormones for the body to work the way it should.

8:00 1 container of grass fed steak with green beans and baby corn water
Jacqui, You may have had a bit too much fruit. Corn is not the best choice for vegetable. Beware turkey sausage may have a lot of fat in it. Please check the label and consider that in your daily fat intake.
