Women day8, Monday May 11th

We have made it through the first week with no casualties! Everyone did great. Give yourselves a nice pat on the back. Ok, lets keep going....

    7:30 dream protein 2 scoops 2 tbsp almond butter, small bananna

    9:30 container of cucumber

    10;30 half of a container of turkey burger, half of a container of sweet potato

    12:00 chest and shoulder workout

    1:30 hslf of a container of cod, half of a container of sweet potato

    4:30 half of a container of turkey burger, whole container sweet potato, 20 almonds

    7:30 half of a container of tuna steak, cauliflower and spinach

    10:00 dream protein shake 2 scoops 2 tbsp almond butters.


    I weighed in at 129 last sunday, before my cheat meal I was 126.

    jody, my grandmother was brought to hospital this am and i did not get to workout as
    planned or eat my fruit before noon. im hoping to get a bike ride in later tonight after kids asleep. what if i dont, should i cut back on something??

  4. Maryann, Sorry to hear about your grandmother. I hope everything is ok.

    Don't cut back on anything. How many times a week do you workout? No more than 6, right? If so maybe you could just workout on the day you planned on taking off. Your meal plan looks good for today.

    can i take a diuretic.? rx strength.i have a script for water retention , sometimes i take a week prior to my period because i always have a lot of water retention that makes me uncomfortable sometimes i dont take it. if it interferes with the whole carb & metabolism thing i rather not take it. let me know your thoughts??? i hope i explained that well!!

    9 - 1/4 container oatml
    10 - 10:45 - upper body
    11 - 1/4 container oatmeal and 1/2 apple
    12 - 1/2 egg salad and 1/2 container sweet potatoe
    1- bad of steamed cauliflower
    3 - 1/2 container sauteed ground chicken with veggies
    6 - container of chicken (marinated in peanut sate and veggies) 1/2 container brown rice

  9. Maryann, are you drinking a gallon of water each day? So water retention is a problem with you? Let me consult with Tom. He knows alot about diuretics. Get back to you soon.

    i drink more then a gallon a day, im a big water drinker because i have always had a water retention issue since my brain surgery. im a medical mis fit!!lol i have no medical issues , just aqm a water retainer.

    12:30 - 1/2 container of wild rice w/ egg omelette (4 whites; 1 yolk (5gf)); sauteed spinach w/1 tbsp macadamia nut oil (10gf)
    3:00 - 1/2 container of wild rice; cucumbers
    4:30 - 10 almonds (8gf)
    6:30 - 1 container of tuna fish salad w/1 tsp safflower oil (10gf) over spinach; steamed broccolli and cauliflower

    10:00am banana with 2 tablespoons of almond butter
    12:30pm 2 piece ezekel bread with eggsalad made with safflower
    3:00pm 1/2 cont. turkey
    6:30pm chilean seabass / stringbeans/ and a side salad w/light viniger
    1 hour before i go to bed is it oj to have 1 tablespoon of almond butter or do something else.

  23. alright i will eat the damn sunflower seeds - how many? dont have the flax seed and yes i thought we decided the 5 fish oil pills - still have 2 to take tonight. didnt think i had to write it everyday

  24. Feeling much better today - thank god for sudafed 24 hours and nasal sprays.

    7:45 Protein drink - 1 scoop

    9:30 2/3 container of rolled oats, banana and 1 tbsp of almond butter (yum on the banana)

    11:30 container of cukes

    1:30 container of Red Snapper, 1/2 container of radishes

    3:30 container of sweet potatoe

    5:45 turkey breast (soy, sherry and ginger) on a bed of baby spinach/mixed field of greens w/balsamic vin.

    7:00 - 8:00 kickboxing

    9:30 Protein drink (1 scoop), cauliflower and white/green tea

    Here's my day:

    7:30am: 6oz oatmeal, 1/4 scoop protein, 1/2 banana

    10:00am: abt 8 grapes

    10:30am: 3 mile fast walk

    12:00pm: 4 egg whites, bunch of peppers, onions and bokchoy

    2:00pm: bag of cukes, 1/4 cup of pumpkin seeds

    4:00pm: container of turkey meat, container barilla plus, container of veggies

    6:00pm: 2/3 container of shrimp, chicken and steak (more chicken & shrimp)

    8:30pm: celery with 2 tbsp pb

    9:30pm: protein shake 1 scoop dream protein and an oz of peanuts (14 g fat)

  32. jody i have dandeloin root. im not going to take anything for now. imj not too uncomfortable , but, i am one large women. i am very bloated, but, i trust that it is just because i increased my carb intake so i retained more than usual. im hoping that my body will work more efficiently after this dietary change... thanks.

    7:00 a.m. black coffee, cut up berries strawberries, raspberries, blackberries

    8:30 a.m. rolled oats

    11:30 brussel sprouts and some raw broccoli

    around 12ish I had two hard boiled eggs

    munched on veggies ras throughout the day

    2:30 one container of chicken grilled and one half of a sweet potatoe

    4:30 one teaspoon of almond butter

    6:45 one container of chicken grilled mixed green salad...no dressing, no tomatoes just a squeeze of lemon.

    8:30 cammomile tea plain

    i only had 32 ounces of water today. I just didn't get the other bottle down.

    i think i should have had another carb somewhere, or is 1/2 sweet potatoe the carb for the entire day?

    I am having trouble working and eating this food. I have the containers. I am having trouble eating in front of my clients. I'm still adjusting that's how I forgot to drink the water. I'm not feeling hungry at all. Just wanted something sweet for a minute, but I got over that in one second.

  34. Good Morning! I have internet access for the next few days! Sunday My cheat meal went like this, remember wedding 5:30 appy hour I had raw veggies and turkey & beef from carving station about 7:30 pm i had spinach salad, with 2 segments of mandrin orange and a very light oil based dressing really good...I had sea bass and steamed veggies, they said bass was baked, it had some light seasoning, but it wasnt till about 9pm I had a small chocolate whipped tart, about the size of a 50cent piece!! I would have liked more, it was so late, I didn't have any food after that night.
    Monday--travel day
    6a 1/2 c. egg salad5.5 FG/e bread almond but 8FG apple
    10a 1/2 c. grd trky meat, 1/2 c. swt potato/red peppers
    1p 1/2 c. egg salad 5.5FG 1 e bread almond but 8FG peppers/cukes
    4:15--we ate out, I had cedar planked salmon FG, no sauce, maybe 3/4 of a container size, grilled veggies, and 1/2 grilled tomato, I know low carb, only tomato, but they had nothing else.
    7-8p hour walk, after a swim....yipee
    8:30 protein shake 1 and 1/2 scoop and 1 tsp almond btr 8FG
    Tuesday
    6:30-7:15 lifted
    7:30 1 ebread/1 tsp almond btr 8FG/ and 3 eggs from the breakfast that looked like almost all egg whites but were shaped like a mcdonalds egg??? Not sure I should eat those again.
    planning: a long walk soon, and hitting the beach :-)
    10:30 1/2 c. grd turkey/1/2 swt potato/veggies
    1:30 1/2 c. egg salad saff 5.5/1 ebrd 1tb almond butter 8FG/veggies

    Thanks Jody, the pressure is on now for me not to screw up...lol... and on top of that my boyfriend ate all sorts of chocolate candy yesterday, and on our walk stopped for a chocolate milkshake...yikes....

  35. oopssfor the 4:30 meal I am having the turkey/swtpotato/veggie repeat. And yes I will cooke the swordfish, we picked it up at whole foods, but I only have a 2 burner stove in the room, should be fun!!!

Carrie, the half of a container of rolled oats and half of a container of sweet potato equal one container so you are missing one container of carbs.Unless, your rolled oats wasn't a half of a container. You weren't specific. You had around 3g of fat for the entire day. Way to low should be around 55g.
