"People never accidentally put food in their mouths... yet they rarely hold themselves accountable for the quality, quantity or origin of the food they are choosing to eat. To accomplish this, each individual must wake up from their dream, raise his/her awareness and make conscious decisions in the PRESENT moment. Ironically this present moment is ALWAYS here, lacks nothing and never changes.... it's always waiting for you... get there and be present with your choices."

OK, so today, Sunday, was supposed to be a Lo-Carb Day. Key words being "supposed to be".
ReplyDeleteWell let's just say that it slowly started out that way and then did a death spiral into breaking all the rules, and I really mean, all of them.
No exercise for the day. Day of rest.
High Carb & cheat meal day to boot. Bad, bad, bad....
Gonna get back on the wagon Monday. Thank You Mary Pickford:
"If you have made mistakes, there is always another chance for you. You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call 'failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down."
Mary Pickford
I can't speak for anybody else, but I'm not staying down until I take that dirt nap, and maybe not even then.

Used watermelon n cherries as my other carb is that allowed?
ReplyDeleteT & Jessica,
ReplyDeleteChick peas definately count as a carb, just like any other beans, except for string or green beans, they are considered vegetables for our program.
Tom or Jody,
Please make any corrections if I'm mistaken.
FH
Jess,
ReplyDeleteI'd count the cherries as a fruit, a whole container of cherries.
The watermelon, idk I'm thinking that it might actually be one of those free foods, maybe too sweet for that though?????
Man frank u can really pack it down
ReplyDeleteI didn't have my second carb so just counted the watermelon n cherries as a carb ...
In a pinch can we do that? If that's all we can get our hands on
Cheat day
ReplyDeleteJessica, maybe in a pinch it's ok, but I'd run it by Jody and tom to be sure.
