Men day 8, Sunday September 27th...

Congrats on making it through your first week! Just got done crushing my victims in the 10 a.m. kettlebell class.... hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Today:
Carbs:
2 pices of Ezekial
1 contianer sweet potato
Protein:
1 container bison
1 container chicken
1 package organic Turkey jerky
1 scoop Harmonized protein with Greens first
Fats:
2 servings almonds butter
1 serving walnuts
1 serving extra virgin olive oil
Fruit:
Banana
blueberries

  1. breakfast oatmeal with blueberrys and 1/2 banana z bread and green t
    lunch will be salad w grilled chicken
    dinner is salad with salmon and veggies

    last night I had my cheat meal. I am down 4lbs before it. it wasn't bad as I went to mexican and had chicken fajita with veggies and salsa ended with my new favorite desert-nutracore

  2. question- is oatmeal OK ? I ate it because I had eggs most mornings this week. Should I be concerned with eating so many eggs ?

  3. down 5 pounds to 226 after starting last Monday--also started physical activity yesterday for first time in looooong time--today did 30 minutes on elliptical and upper body workout--eating so far--8:30 banana; 11:00 4 egg whites with veges and turkey slice; cup of red mill hot buckwheat cereal ; water--really getting into it and assume 5 lbs ok for week 1--as you have said, regardless of weight loss,I have never eaten this well

  4. Tom--I know I am repeating myself so afetr you roll your eyes tell me... egg yolks are a fat and count as about 5 grams each and 5 eggs whites are 1/2 container of protein??

    Here is today's menu....

    1 slice Ezikiel
    Almond Butter

    4 egg whites / 2 eggs

    Chicken Sausage


    Banana

    Container of Shrimp
    Brown Rice

    Salmon
    Brown Rice

  6. Brian - oatmeal is one of the foods listed as acceptable. You should buy the organic oats in the bin at Wegman's though... instand oatmeal sucks. Eggs are fine to eat a lot of and often... BTW, congrats on the 4 pounds; a great start.

  7. Bob - great job so far. Each egg yolk is about 5 grams of fat and yes, 5 egg whites is about 1/2 container of protein.

  11. Hi Tom, today's menu:

    7:45 apple, 10 walnuts
    10:00 1 1/2 protein shake with 1 banana
    12:00 1 container of buckwheat
    3:00 1 container of sweet potato and 3/4 container of fresh crab salad
    6:00 1 1/2 container of turkey breast with fresh salad with fresh lemon
    6:40 12 almonds and 1 cup of white tea

    60oz of water

    Ready for the fast...

  12. lunch salad with olive oil;red grapes;dinner 2 turkey sausages and gluten free pasta. This week I want to really pre-pack as much as possible as I found I was eating right stuff but often not in containers already so hard to keep track--..

    different topic..what is formula for max or peak heart rate ???

    desert from last nignt cheat meal that i never got to eat so i had it tonight magie moos ice cream with heath bar and van chips 8 teaspoons.

  14. 6:30 protien shake 2 scoop, 7:30 karate/cardio, 10:15 9 egg white 3 yolk, 2 ezkiel w/ 1 tbs almond butter, green pepper, 11:15 banana, 1:00 hand full red grapes, 2:20 1 container ground sirlion, 1 container rice, 4:00 1/2 cucumber, 6:00 turkey sauage w/ 1/2 container whole wheat pasta, spinach salad 1 tbs extra vig olive oil& home made sauce, 8:30 plan to have 23 almonds. No beer yet!!!!! GO CHICAGO BEARS!!!!!!!

    Gotta weigh in tomrrow AM. 200lbs, here we come!!!!

    Here is my menu:
    -1 container egg whites including 2 whole eggs (10g), 1tbsp saff mayo lite (5), 1/2 container l.g brown rice,
    -1scoop Harm protein powder, banana
    1container shrimp, 1tbsp saff may (5)
    -1slice ez. bread
    -1 container chicken, 1/2 container lg.wild rice, 1 ounce almonds (14)

  18. Bob - it's all about proper preperation... you are doing great so far! max heart rare is 220 - your age. This is a basic formula, but well trained athletes (like Aaron) can go well above that.
