Men day 5, Thursday September 24th

Mark your calender, Phase 2 meeting will be next Sunday October 4th at 7:30 a.m. and will only take about 30 minutes.... Jody and I will be available afterward for question / answer.

Please note the messages I posted yesterday if you did not read them; also, it is critical that everyone eat all the food we are asking you to eat unless we specifically tell you otherwise.

4:45 a.m. 2 scoops Harmonized Protein Shake with Greens First, 1 banana; 2 pieces of Ezekiel Bread with a serving of almond butter
8:15 a.m. 3 poached eggs with Green Tea
Packed for day:
Protein:
1 Container Turkey
1 Container of chicken
Carbs:
1 Container brown rice cereal
Fruit:Mango
Veggies:cauliflower and broccoli
Will have another Protein shake tonight

  1. so yesterday evening did not go exactly to plan the restaurant we were at did not have an acceptable carb-I assume french fries and mashed potatoes are out so did not have-had mussels (they were cooked in some sauce but I mostly had the mussels). True test was not eating the sauce, which was excellent with the french bread, grilled tuna with vegtables. The vegables were supposed to be steamed but I suspect the either in oil or butter, but light. Has about 1.5 serving of almonds before bed. So that completes yesterday.

    9:30 hot water with lemon, oatmeal, whey protein

    11:00 will have apple and banana

    Please elt Jodi know that although she is not posting on the blog Jillian has been following very well. I will show her how to use the blog over the weekend.

  2. Hi Tom, here is my menu for today:

    8:00 blueberries, 20 cashews
    8:45 1 banana
    10:30 1 container of rolled oats
    12:00 1 container of egg whites with safflower light mayo
    2:30 1 container grass fed beef & 1 container of buckwheat
    4:30 .5 container of beets salad with fresh garlic 1 tsp of safflower light mayo
    7:00 1 container size wild caught salmon & salad - spinach and other greens

    1 cup of white tea

    48oz of water for the day

Aaron - restaurants are always a problem and that is why I want people to stay out of them as much as possible (other than cheat meals) over the next 12 weeks; however, since you had to go you seemed to have done an excellent job at making good choices. BTW, there are these things called semicolons and commas... they work really well in sentences.

  5. STill sick. 1 bowl of oatmeal with blueberries this morning no interest in eating right now this sucks but I like blogging and feel part of the group this go round. Hope to work out tomorrow morning.

  7. breakfast was red mill brown rice cereal..suprisingly great.. two slices of turkey, water and green tea..11:00-23 almonds;2:00 is grilled chicken, spinach and brown rice..Tom sorry if I missed the answer but are oranges just a fruit?? also is tobasco permitted??

  12. 4:30 protien shake, 5:30 banana, 7:00 4 egg white 1 yoke, 1 ezekiel w/ almond butter, 9:00 apple, 1 ezekiel w/ almond butter, 12:30 tuna & spinach salad, 1/2 cucumber, 1tbs safflower mayo, 3:30 container whole wheat pasta, 1tbs extra vig olive oil, 7:45 protien shake, 8:30 karate class, 9:45 7 egg whites

    11:30am 1 cont brown rice pasta
    2:30 pm 1 cont baked turkey breast
    4:00 pm 3 oz. grilled salmon, small mixed green salad
    7:30pm 1 cont sirloin cooked in a slow cooker with vegetables- broccoli, cauliflwr,carrots, celery
    water all day 96oz
